I dont run a PV but the carbs now days have a back fire
valve to prevent the back fire to blow out the PV





They may have a valve now to keep the back fire from blowing out the valve,but I bet they still have a mind of their own and can open an close at will. All joking aside I have never been able to get them to work right and work right all the time on any engine,but some times on a street engine you just have to settle for as best/close as you can get things.
PS thats why I am becoming a bigger & bigger fan of FI!
