Over the weekend I installed a new set of TTI headers on my 70 340 Dart. I had to have a spacer plate made for the driver side motor mount to lift up the motor a bit as the third header tube back was resting on the power steering box. Today I discovered that the steering center link rubs on one of the driver side header tubes when the wheel is turned to the left. I thought TTI headers were supposed to fit like a glove but not on my car they don't. Anyway, does anyone have a suggestion on how to get more clearance on the center link to avoid having the rubbing issue? The only thing I have changed is the car had manual steering and I installed power steering. The power steering box and pump were from a 70 318 Dart.
