Looking to try different metering blocks on a HP950 "copy" carb.
Basic issue is WOT AFR. Goes to 13.0 AFR at the hit of the throttle no matter the jet and stays there.
Borrowed a HP-950 Holley and AFR read 11.8 at the same WOT checks.
Been althrough the thing. Tuned it to 14mpg/idles drives perfect ,but WOT cannot be adjusted.
Need a new carb.,,, but hope just metering blocks will do it too?
What metering blocks are decent at a reasonable cost?
