My ss springs were always best with rear segments unclamped. Long drag shocks and or shock extensions. just a clamp 6" behind axle let them fan out on launch.

with the cal tracs SS springs and 9 way adjustable was best with rear of springs unclamped and shocks at 7 for foot braking.
