My aluminum radiator is not real shiny anymore. I think that I would just as soon have it black in the hope that it would look a little nicer and be easier to maintain that look.

So, what (if any) process could I use to get paint to stick. Should I use a light dusting of primer? And what paint should I use?

I know I need to limit the build-up. And I would prefer to stay away from rattle can paint. I would prefer some good paint that I can spray from a gun.

Looking for good tips and tricks.
