I installed a set of AMD 69 Charger full qtrs, just like installing NOS sheetmetal.....just a FYI, before tacking in the rear tail section where the pot metal cap fits on the rear qtr tail, check the fit of the potmetal cap with the qtr, you might want to "massage" the outer shape somewhat as you clamp and tack into place to fit the endcap profile.

I agree. I've installed AMD Charger 1/4's. Very good fit. The contours and gaps were right on. Only a couple things to watch for. The lower body line that runs from the wheel opening to the rear valance corner is sharper than original. I simply dollied it to a softer contour. Easily done before installing. There were some ripples near the rear window opening too but no biggie since it needs lead or filler anyway to blend to the roof so really a non issue there. Overall an excellent part.
A few recommendations I would have for anyone replacing 1/4's on any car is this. If you aren't experienced in panel replacement and bodywork, it's probably best left to the professionals. This is a major part of the car and correct installation is an absolute must.
Also I would suggest that if the roof lead is nice, and there is no rust around the rear windo or in the trunk opening, then the 1/4 skins are probably a better choice. Same quality part but no need to disturb the factory lead at the roof and not as intrusive since the upper part is left undisturbed. Less chance of screwing it up.
Yes there is a 7 foot butt weld, however with experience that becomes easy and almost undetectable if done well. The AMD panels are thick so butt welding is a breeze compared to the old thin skins that we had to use for 20 years.
