anybody use the right stuff detailing complete disc brake conversion kit for a 1969 roadrunner? the kit i have is 4 wheel disc, manual brakes with e-brakes. the problem i seem to be having is the brake cables that came with the kit will not work. i was able to make the factory long cable work on the passenger by trimming the spring but the short cable will not work. the cable they sent, the conduit is correct in length but the cable inside is too short. the factory cable, the conduit is too short to reach the bracket. i installed the calipers on the gas tank side of the axle but the instructions said you can mount them on either side. the stock cables would work if i mounted them on the front side of the axles but the problem with that application would put the bleeder screw down and not at the top. that's why i mounted them the way i did. any suggestions?

well since no one had an answer, i figure i would tell you the best solution for this that i came up with. i called a place called Control Cables out of California. give them the measurements you need and they will make it for you and at a reasonable price. great source for any type of cable system you need.

A little late, but if you move the caliper mounting brackets from behind the wheel to in front of the wheel (or go the other way), you need to swap the calipers from one side of the car to the other side of the car to keep the bleeders facing up. The "left side" caliper becomes the "right side" caliper. Gene

I looked at that but my anal retentiveness couldn't deal with a caliper that had an "L" cast into it on the right side and vise versa. lol! that and i wanted the feed line to the caliper on the back side of the axle instead of in front of it. thanks for your input though.
