anyone who have had the amp gauge converted to volts if so by who,and your thoughts on whether or not you should even bother about doing it,thoughts and opinions negative or positive welcome. thanks

No conversion exp but I like my ammeter (do the Nacho bulkhead parallel bypass) & I add a voltmeter to switched 12V

I did mine through Redline Guage Works. I also did it on my ebody when they restored those guages. I like it, but I am running a 160 amp MSD 1 wire alternator.

Someone modded a volt gauge to fit, and look, like a factory volt meter over here:

and alt upgrade. Without the alt upgrade, the ammeter will be still sensitive to fail. The bulkhead parallel path or bypass just save the overheating there wink
