Or, is there a better place to buy one for my Valiant ?

Have you tried a local glass shop? 2 major brands are PPG & Pilkington; PPG tends to be better quality, but always check for distortion before it's installed.
There's also an outfit (OpticArmor) selling a composite (not Lexan, IIRC) that's lightweight.
ProGlass does a "mar-resistant Lexan" too.

Not all windshields are the same from 2 door to 4-doors / wagons.

Check listings carefully & ask for dimensions top to bottom & compare to your car before buying.

I have bought eBay glass, ACC brand seems to come to mind. It was about 2/3rds the thickness of AMD glass.

Yep
Not nearly as rare as your piece but, I've been having a troublesome time finding a wind shield for a 77 van.
Been looking for many years.
Some folks have claimed to have 'em but were scared of shipping. shruggy

I'm thinking they are not being reproduced for such a small number of units.
I doubt glass sat in warehouses for decades like hard parts.
Hope you can find what you are looking for.

I saw an add for "Stephens Performance", a Sponsor for this site,
in an issue of Mopar Muscle magazine.

http://stephensperformance.com/
The claim is "Worlds Largest Mopar salvage operation."
I'm called em .
No help. shruggy

I have mechanical Aptitude.
I can screw up anything.

Pilkington made a run of Cordoba/Magnum/Charger windshields, seem to be good quality.

I have a name/number to call to chat with a guy who does the non-current windshilds. PM me if you want it.

Last tinted I bought for a 65 Fury was $165.

Have you tried ECS? I hear the AMD glass is thinner than factory, FYI

Found the gasket at Steele rubber, supposed to be in stock

Might have a lead on a used glass
