To me ( per what I can see ) the standard dash cluster fits just right over the bezel, not throught, so the bezel could be the same for both! I can't see any round cut on bezel to fit the speedo section, but a speedo shadow/gap over the bezel

The standard dash has a curved cut out for the large speedo and the rallye is straight. just for correctness the picture of the rallye gauges has the road lamp switch in the wrong location. Should be under the dash.

I think you are looking at the rear speaker fader?

I believe spkgo is referring to the pic second 70 posted of the rallye dash that has the road lamp switch in it.
Yes it was factory mounted under the dash , but probably remounted there for ease of use.

Look at second 70’s picture where the road lamp switch is.

Can someone post a picture of the standard dash with a standard dash bezel? Would like to compare how the bezel looks with the dash cluster.

That piece is for standard dash, note the rounded cut out for the larger speedo.
That same piece for a rally is solid rectangular, because the rally gauges are flat in that area.

Ok... yes it seems the gap I'm looking at is an optical ilusion, being on bezel then thumbs

Many years ago it took me about three hours to put a rally Dash into my standard - 73 Challenger, with a friend helping me.. Actually it's pretty easy had to wire up the tach. And the heater control is different. And I use the factory wiring diagram that really help

Good eyes the switch is not in the usual location.Since the car was a standard dash the frame wasn't drilled for the normal location so instead of drilling the frame and knowing it wasn't going to be in the right spot anyway I put it where I thought it looked the best.
