My guess is that any new turbo headers are for the newer cars and won't work on the old stuff.

Looks like Texas Speed is beating Isky to the VVT punch. They announced a lineup of VVT hemi cams at PRI. I forgot to take any pictures but they had one on display. Why Isky was even bothering with the old non-vvt cams first I'll never know. because pre Eagle cams out sell VVTs by 7 to 1 also cam cores are more readily available. Doubtful on the 7 to 1 number. Pretty much anything in the last decade hemi-wise is vvt and lots of people are swapping cams in them. Swap cars, obviously most use non-vvt. Because the cost and availability of vvt cams are silly. Comp is controlling the market with their ridiculously priced core. Seen the Comp sale #s Comp it is 7 to 1 , Comp is not the only one with VVT cores, Bullet and CP both have cores , the CP is limited to .600 lift Bullet has been great to work with.

I was at PRI last weekend.
Bullet said they have VVT cores on the shelf and to call and they can grind what you want. He said they are less expensive than what we are used to seeing for VVT hemi cams.
CamMotion said he has a VVT hemi on the stand and he's measuring everything before they make one available.
Looking forward to what Cam motion can do, Bullet grinds are in the $550 range , I have a custom .710/690 here for a (4.09 X 4.20) 441 build is using Jesel lifters and Rockers.

Hopefully this ends up changing. IMO VVT block are stronger.
BGE is definitely stronger than the 6.1, no if ands or analy retentive buts about it. ....but keep in my Rob Goss went in to the high 6s on a modified 6.1 block before they switched over to the Alum block.

Good questions Silver, they may be for the newer cars. They were compact though, like a factory truck exhaust manifold facing forward so they may work on an older car. Would be interesting to see if they would work.

The newer cars are tighter under the hood, in front of the engine, beside the engine, on top of the engine...
