For the '62-'65 this is the one you want. I sold this particular one on E-bay several years ago for (I think) $150. I doubt if anybody is making them any more but they might appear occasionally used.

This version allowed the use of the rear pump, a shorter version was available that required the removal of the rear pump.

Here's what the shorter version looked like, required shortening the slip yoke.

SHORTER than that one JK ? ...didn't know there were two styles of the 62-65 ! don't need it that short but it would be nice THAT WAY. The one I had had a pump in it. How many diff versions or styles were made for all of the aftermarket kits ? How many trans bizes just put trier name on it ?

One of these would solve a problem I have - do they have a provision for a speedo cable ??

I've seen at least a dozen of them over the years .. never saw one that had a speedo cable plug hole. Would LIKE to have some type speedo on my project - was thinking about something like an old aftermarket cruise control - with small magnets off the driveshaft

None of the aftermarket shorty tails have speedo provisions, there's barely enough room for the slip yoke splines let alone a speedo drive gear.

Autometer makes GPS speedometers. Speedhut is another.

My '85 d350 has one.
I believe anything with a longer wheelbase than a reg. cab long bed will have one too.

4x4 with divorced transfer case is where the one I have came from. I don't know if it was a W100, W200 or w300. Motorhome too but they usually had the E-brake on the back. I'm not sure if they shared the same output shaft or not.
