Need opinions on octane.13 to one 414 inch small block. Any difference going from 110 Sunoco to 112? Thanks

With 110 and 13-1 you are on the edge of the fuel spec - 112 is rated for up to 15-1

Probably will make the same power and you will not notice any difference between the two depending on how conservative you are with your jetting and timing. If you get aggressive with the tune the added octane helps.

I have 13-1 in my HEMI and run VP 112 - the main thing about buying race gas is where you get it from and how pure it is - I buy sealed barrels or cans - I never completely trusted the stuff at some tracks or local gas stations

I ran a 13.1 to 1 W5 headed smallblock for years with 110 with zero issues. 32 degrees timing, 7400-7500 at the stripe.
95% of the time i was pumping the sunoco out of 55 gallon drums i would buy. Known good fuel.

Sunoco was so lousy, I would not try to get away with running it on the edge. Maybe it's different now. Switching to VP made life easier.

If the results don't match the theory, change the theory.

I've run Sunoco with good results. Its not oxygenated like the VP and requires some attention. I'm experimenting with Klotz additive and 93 pump gas. At 12.5 no problems and it will be cheaper than Sunoco or VP. No bad plug coatings. It lasts indefinitely in the metal can. There may be a few HP with the race gas but I'm just running an index.

For a quarter of the price try it on Avgas, see if it goes slower

I've been running Renegade fuel for 6 years. Personally we run Pro 114, 15-1. Very consistent. they have 112,113 and more. 114 here is $550 a drum.

I was told years ago by several of Ma Mopar factory backed SO CA drag racers to run the lowest octane fuel possible that did not ping or mark up the spark plugs, lean and cold plugs worked the best, fastest, with BB ,Hemi or SB thumbs

Hopefully it has iso-octane (reference fuel of 100 RON/MON) and not n-octane (-17 MON, -20 RON).
