Like said in an earlier post is that I'd found an impression in the steel fittings on the carbs. from the last tightening. Unless the flair lines up in the exact same spot, I'd get a little leak. I used these copper fitting seat washers and this is the first time they didn't leek with minimal tightening.

My experience with stainless lines, is that they leak at the flare. Stainless doesn't have any elasticity, and destroys the brass fittings.
I'll never use stainless on brake lines again, or any flare fittings like 6 pack upper lines.
