Working on cars teaches you patience... and every curse word imaginable.

Agreed, Love the exterior color. but would prefer copper or white interior.
We are hip deep into a cross country move or I would have to give this one some very serious thought

Got an email on it today and then saw the color, I thought OH MAN

It's a fantastic color and it looks far better in person than in pictures.

Also glad they didn't repaint the roof

We have one in the area that is by a guy named Cleat, Clyde or something like that, but if it was his car I though it would still have a black plate on it.

Is it a Sacramento car?

Don't think so, At least per the ad. Its in North Plains Arizona. But per the zip code listed its in Oregon.
So I'm not 100% sure where its at exactly.

A buddy of mine used to have a 67 Coronet this color ,only with copper and white interior. ( should have bought that car,,but that's another story ) So i am real familiar with the color in person, Which is why this car peaks my interest like it does. I would have to loose the black interior though

I'm trying to talk the wife god into making a stab for it. But we just sold our house, and bought 40 acres in southern Arizona. So I'm doubtful I can make that happen right now, 6 months ? maybe !

I'll pm you the ad

Update
Block stamp info. seller thinks its a 75 block. I think its a 69 block.
Not the original but at least its better . But not a deal killer either way numbers on it are 5T 440 E with 11 7 below that.

Have asked for casting date on the side of the block to confirm.
Nice thing about a 67, its just a matter of locating a good date block and move forward ,,if the desire hits me

That's my favorite color for this car.

But what's wrong with two-tone? A black top is black whether paint or vinyl. Two-tone adds to the rarity.

This medium copper is at the top of my list. But am not a fan of a vinyl or painted top on this body style. (Personal preference )

I would actually prefer either copper or white interior. But that's an easy fix if desired.
I'm not worried about rarity.Just condition and price

Definitely a later 70's era block. You'll be looking for one stamped C 440 HP appropriately dated. Might be a tougher find than you think.

I figured as much. The location of the E was throwing me off. But the more I thought about it, I think the guy is right, and he thinks its a 75 block
IF ( key word right now )
I buy the car , finding a correct dated block right will be a hobby, not a necessity. Im more worried about body condition , color combination and options. Not sure I can do anything with it right now anyway.
but in all actually the 1st order of business would be make sure its dependable , then a phone call to Vintage air products .

I'm pretty well past that OE correct phase of my life. depending on the price point obviously.
I want to enjoy it and I cant tell if its a numbers engine or not driving down the road

Bill, That pad is pretty much identical to the one in my 75 one ton truck. Does the OE correct phase ever really leave?

Thanks Holgar,
lets just say its definitely lessened dramatically.

My next car I want it nice but it must be first and foremost a driver. I'm well past the trailer only phase of my life.

PS, Pm sent
