I considered the gear vendors and 727 with my duster but I decided a t56 was a much better option. I really think I’d want lock up if I had any kind of overdrive and a stall converter. What is available for a lock up converter with the 518 or 46re? I like the gm trans idea.

The Shorty version of the Gearvendors adds about 7.25" to a 727. I don't know if it can be bought from Gearvendors or if it's just available at SMR?
