Ron, I tapped them 8-32, this was for a 68-70 B body application, I would "assume" Ma Mopar "most likely" used the the same thread application from 66-74? A,B,C,E ?....

Are Chargers considered upper level interior? I have a '69 tan interior Charger with chrome knobs, but my black '69 Charger interior has aftermarket 6u11$#!t. Should it get chrome or black for it?

My '69 Charger with tan interior has tan colored knobs. They appear to be original. I do not recall color of the inserts. I can post pics if you want.

I think a black interior gets black knobs. My understanding is that chrome knobs were not installed at the factory, they were only available as a replacement part because colored knobs were not available as a replacement part.
