That is what I was saying above but the last two pin Cuda440-6 from Chrysler I have has the same dimension or distance between the first to last pin as a shaker emblem but has the small pins, both thinner and shorter like a sport hood emblem. The sport hood emblem from the first pin to the last pin should be just a little bit longer but these last Cuda440=6 emblems match a shaker emblem.

On the red shakers I have an argent shaker purchased from a guy that parted a black 1970 440-6 cuda in 1980 or so and it is red under the argent paint, so they did indeed pai t some then repaint them. Agree on cudas not being tapered told the guy challengers were. I will have to ask him if he meant the pins, just to keep the pot stirredšŸ˜€

Not sure if cuda 440-6 shaker emblems are reproā€™d. Mitchelll motors has some ā€œNOSā€ ones listed on eBay but I think Frank Mitchell had a bunch of emblems reproā€™d years ago and sold as NOS. Either way they may be the only game In town. I am sure there is a different part number for the shaker emblems.

Be aware that pins on the shaker emblems are longer and thicker than normal pins.

The picture shown on the eBay ad have the correct brushed finish, but Mike will tell you that the ones Frank had repopped, and the ones you will receive have a chrome finish.Frank told me he had the same compamy repop these for him but they couldn't or didn't want to do the brushed finish.

Shaker emblems are thicker on the edges on one end to make them appear flat on the round shaker surface, and regular hood emblems are flat.
