The heads were done because of NHRA rules I believe. The ports have been moved and raised. This is a former members engine. It was designed to run 9's. The car is all steel, so I suspect it will be close to 3200 w/ driver and gas. It could probably run 9's on "pump gas". I'm just going to take it easy.... Looks good, but 3200 with driver? Not without a lot of gutting and light pieces. More like 3500-3700. Doug

The castings were mine, originally... had an uncommon feature of CNC chambers, although the ports were as cast. 2. Another member bought them and provided them to the group from Moparts that entered the Engine Masters competition... 2003, IIRC. I believe four different people had their hands on those heads to complete the work. The only one who still posts here on any regular basis is Dwayne Porter. 3. Jim Hanrahan "440Jim" bought them and ran them on his A-body bracket car before going "big" with a new engine and switching to E85 fuel. Any alcohol in the fuel will turn all that epoxy to sh!t. 4. I knew Chris bought them, but didn't know if he ever used them. The last pictures I'd seen of them did not show the additional floor "wing". I don't know if those were used on all of the ports, or only certain ports, or... ? They aren't part of the original epoxy fill to raise the ports. yes they were 440Jims heads the entire motor was his. Chris Bought it to use in one of his cars but went a different route. I guess I'll have to find a place that sells 93 non-ethanol gas or just use 110. In any event it should run pretty good I think.

But a lot of the floor and trunk is sheet metal....no heater box, man steering and such.

Sounds like a Moparts car for sure. Seems a lot of members have had a hand in it. Kinda cool..
