Starting with a Drag Pak probably saved a LOT of weight right from the start.

I noticed the launch pic in the article shows a good bit of chassis separation with the rear suspension... not what I expected with a modern chassis.

Brad it is fairly typical of high powered Radial tired cars. Many will rise in the rear on the starting line when the bring up the boost..Trying to kill wheelspeed and plant the tire. Radials and wheelspeed don't go together.
