I have a 71 Challenger with a 440 and a R/T hood and am changing out the intake. My question is what will fit? I have a Edelbrock RPM but am changing to either a Street Dominator, Victor or M1.

I bought a street dominator for my Jensen project as it has little hood clearance.

I have a 72 Challenger with a 400 stroked to 505, Victor intake, Holley carb and a 3 inch tall K&N air cleaner.
I have a flat hood that I added a 2 inch cowl type scoop to and I have about 1 inch between the air cleaner and the hood.

Kinda off topic but why ditch the RPM? You need a pretty hairy street engine to need more intake.

I run the M1 on a flat hood Challenger and 400 block. It all fits (just) with a mild drop base air cleaner (Edelbrock) and short EFI throttle body. With a R/T hood I guess it would fit with a taller carb and similar drop base air cleaner.

FWIW I kinda like the M1 single plane on my stroker. It runs well and also tested well in the Hot Rod BB manifold comparison. The engine has more than enough low/mid range torque and hangs in very well if I spin it up.
