I've been trying to do something different with the goody bags for years. The main thing that I'd like to do is replace the traditional dash plaque with something else. What do most of you do with your dash plaques these days? I used to put mine in an album but that got old. Now I leave them in the glove box until I clean it out and then they end up in a box...I think laugh2

I'm open to ANY ideas but I'll probably have to be realistic with what actually happens. But you never know. Shoot for the moon with your ideas. Maybe someone would want to step up and sponsor something really cool. I personally think the traditional dash plaques are a waste...but if I just eliminate them, I think the attendees will hang me eek

Thanks!!

Ed

dash magnets. That way you can use them as dash "plaques" if you want or on your fridge or whatever...

A show here does this and I just put them on the garage fridge...

FWIW, I like the traditional dash plaques. I like lining them up on my dash as the year progresses.
A lot of shows now do the vinyl ones with the magnetic backing. That works, too, as long as the adhesive holding the magnet on doesn't lose its grip.

I put all my dash plaques all over the sides of my toolbox. I love having them up so I can recall all the various shows I've been too. But it's getting to where I'm going to have to buy a bigger toolbox in order to have more room for more dash plaques! :-D

The windshield sticker from the Carlisle show is a badge of honor.
Like an old soldier earning a medal,LOL
Drove down from Canada in 2016 1200 miles round trip at 16 MPG in the old '66 300 seedan and made the trip without a lick of trouble.
Attended other shows afterwards where people pointed out the windshield sticker and were impressed.

This year,I am driving down in my "Barge on a Budget" 68 Chrysler Newport Custom. Just finished a 12 year on/off resto and will get its sticker in the window on OUR 50th birthday!! LOL!! Yeah,I am hitting the big 5-oh myself next month!!

All my dash plaques are on my beer fridge in the mancave.

sounds great.
Looking forward to it.

I have seen a golden and a black 58 Adventurer convertible in Sweden over the years.

No, leaving the fact that there is no racing on the grounds alone instead of pointlessly arguing would have been better. Nats: Racing at the event.
Carlisle: No racing at the event.
One reason the shows are completely different and it is ok to like both for different reasons. pity catfight

Different for sure! At Carlisle you don't have to worry about you family being run down some drunken pigs on a golf cart. Did Columbus twice never again
