Did you contact KB to see if they can provide them? If not try that scope
If they can't or won't try Trend twocents

E Bay, Racing Junk, Class Racer.com, Yellow Bullet.
Search on all for light weight Chevy wrist pins.
Should be several links.

Have you weighed your ICON pins to know how heavy the really are? I mention this only because the actual weights for both the pistons AND the pins for the one set of ICON 440 forged pistons I owned (and sold before using) were both heavier than what ICON stated in their catalog.

Diamond/Trend list these
H-9902930125 0.990 2.930 0.125 126g H13 $180/set when I asked a couple of years ago.

They are my backup plan if my 383 to 451 is over balanced with the 158g pins on the 440 source pistons (instead of Mallory metal), the factory crank I am cutting down has already been balanced down to 2370 in a 440 in a previous life, so I have my fingers crossed - my combo should balance at 2165

The 3.005 dosen't seem to be a standard size? would 0.075 in length make a difference on a floating pin?

When looking for light pins I found reference to BBC pins as light as 90g for a pro-stock engine, but they seem to be a build to order thing depending on your combo

Hi Brad,
Yes i have weighed them ! They are 163gr. It seems like 3.005 in lenght is not a std... I dont know how to adress this the best way and i dont dare to take of that mutch on the pins i have to this set of pistons.... KB couldent help me out and Trend havent repyed yet but i fear this will be an expencive adveture....

Can I ask why you don't call united engine and machine 775-882-7790? Ask for Glen. They make all the KB pistons and all the ICON pistons. Why do you want a lighter pin?

I emaild kb/United engines and they said no lighter pins ! My old pistons were about 30gr less than these ICON pistons and the crank that is a stock forged crank whas balanced for the old pistons weight so if i understand it corekt i need to try to get my new to have same weight!?
