Picking the decklid up today. It definitely needs a wet sand and buff, but so did the rest of the car.

We are skipping Drag Week this year, but will be back for 2020. Kinda bummed, but now I can really focus on winning my bet with Joel.

Yes, unfortunately I am scratching drag week this year. I fowled up on the registration and ended up on the waitlist. Now 10 days before we would have to leave I still haven't moved up the waitlist enough to be registered. For the time and money and work that is involved to get ready, and to drive from Minnesota to Virginia in hopes of getting in, and considering how extremely busy I am at work, I'm not going to risk it. Next year for sure!

Joel, I'm really getting hungry after all this work... I sense a steak dinner very soon.

Well not sure I want to eat sand, but if you are buying DESSERT also, it's time to put in some late night hours in the garage.

Installed the rear glass, just need to finish the trim, and on to the driver side glass. Looking like making the race after Labor day is a good possibility.
