Best way to ID a late hemi

I have found a hemi motor and trans. I did not look close at either. What do I look for in order to determine what it is. It did not appear to have a blower on it.

get last 8 of vin # should be on engine and trans, have your local dealer run it

if it still has the original valve covers, there should be the barcode + vin on the driver's side valve cover near the #1 coil pack. (At least, that's where I found it on my '13 300C 5.7.)


Otherwise, the big giveaway should be the intake itself. Truck intakes have the throttle body facing upwards, cars have the typical forward-facing throttle body. 6.4's will face off to the side.
