CASCAR vs 6.1 Intake. - 01/17/19 10:07 AM

Bit of a hypothetical here , on an injected 392 cube engine that can make power past 7000 rpm , would there be an advantage of the CASCAR intake over a well ported 6.1 .

My opinion would be that the Cascar will probably make more power than the 6.1 intake over 6k because of the shorter runners. How much not sure.

Thanks your opinion is important , thoughts on this . Is it possable the unequal length runners of the casscar could loose power at some point , or is it less important with a dry manifold.

I would imagine that the 6.1 intake losing power after 6800 rpm.

The CASCAR should make power way above that rpm range due to being a single plane.

The 6.1 is also a single plain manifold . from what i understand it's the longer runners of the 6.1 that limit it's high rpm power.

6700-6900 RPM range is your cut off point.... Duration @ 50 effects the 6.1 more.
