air conditioning compressors g3 hemi

im adding vintage air to my 68 barracuda g3 swap. im using the OEM compressor, it has 2 wires, a black and a black with white tracer. which wire does what?

It's a solenoid, polarity doesn't particularly matter here. Typically one is grounded and the other is 12v via a high pressure switch and a relay.
