Is it possible to use an a518 rh46 with a drive by wire engine harness from let's say Mopar or Holley?

Or do I need to use a cabble throttle body in order to make the kickdown work with an a518 rh46?

I went thru this and you need one of these type setups http://bouchillonperformance.com/meta-product-kickdown-cable-kit or there's a factory cable box that some of the trucks used. That will get you the throttle valve hookup and the pedal sensor for the computer.

Did you fab something up or buy from Bouchillon?
They make since stuff, but they are really proud of it too.

When I did a 6.1/518 swap, I used a cable style throttle body and got a universal style cable and made my own brackets. I think the cable was actually for a motorcycle.

I make manual shift valve bodies for the 518 & 46re . No kick down linkage needed. No TCM Needed. Shift pattern is P R 1 2 3 4

I would quit the hobby before I paid those ridiculous prices from Bouchillon

Get a factory cable box off a 03 Ram..I scored one from the local pick and pull for $20. Like sixpackgut says, no reason to pay alot if you dont have to...

I used Lokar kickdown and throttle cable kits on a 408 in a 65 Dart, not sure how it would work with the hemi TB, but worth looking into.
