Spark plug wire routing???

Has anybody tried running the spark plug wire to the same cylinder as the COP, instead of having it going to it's companion cylinder. I have started working on a 04 5.7 Hemi from a Durango and want to clean up the look of the engine when the time comes for this aspect of it.
This is the idea that I had.

If you are going to run an MSD Hemi 6 to handle the ignition system, I believe you will have to switch coils. I think the wiring harness was discontinued for the early coils. Check before you invest time in the mod.

If not, disregard.

Will be using Megasquirt.

I have both of my carbed 5.7's like that,Taylor makes wires for that.
