Is it possible a bushing or a bearing is still in the crank? (If the motor was out of a standard car). I’ve never heard of there being any difference

6.1s(and5.7s) that had a Nag transmission behind them, have a bushing pressed in there for the nose of the Nag converter. It's a PIA to get out but once it's out you'll be fine.
