P7 intake is close enough to work also, but not as "close as the LSX/7s Viper intakes are the same spacing, but that's a lot of work to remove two cylinders from the intake and get the fuel rail right, the 3rd gen viper Intake would be better but I like the look of the 2nd gen intake.

The Gene Adams (http://hotrodenginetech.com/early-hemi-single-plane-4v-intake-test/) designed single plane intake looks like it could be modified to work, I have a RO7 intake that I plan on trying to modify to work on a G3.

Me and Steff have talked about this for a long time. I would not even consider wasting time with any of those intakes because I think the DP intake is far better than any of them.

What me and Steff were looking at is using the holley high rams. I even bought a high ram base for the new LT1. The LT1 has more of a square port. The problem we did not count on is because of the injector in the head, the ports are alot higher and makes the intake much wider

I don't think the LSX will out power the DP intake, but I think it would be a good street manifold, I also think that it would be better as a carburetor setup as opposed to EFI because the adapter would place the injectors about an inch higher than stock. The ports are closer to pre Eagle then 6.1\6.4,5.7 Eagles, my thinking is that it would flow enough for the Per Eagle, but starve the "squarer" port heads above 6500
I did a 392 build for a guy here in Philly who is using an edelbrock 7141 crossram on 03 heads, 3500 to 6000 car feels like you hit a 150 shot of Nos
How did the P7 work out?

Here's the Holley Ram manifold on the gen 3. Its going to require some work. The intake is wider than the hemi ports. So, the intake is going to require some cutting up and new flanges. Once I get my new bridgeport mill hooked up at home, its on......

Should be awesome when it's done, I thought about taking a modman or edelbrock dual 4 bbl intake and cutting the flange and the 1st inch or so and using that for mold/adapter

Pics? How did you physically adapt it, cut the LS flanges off and weld on Hemi ones?

this photo is of a set of blocks I made out of wood, the block on the left side was the one that the adaptor was molded from.
I don't have any finished photos of the edelbrock 7141 on the G3, I can tell you he made the blocks out of Alum, he made four that covers two ports, and not the whole side. oil fill in the head was blocked off. recessed cap screws hold the adaptor to the head and the Eddy is bolted to the adaptor.

I have one of those cheap LSX tunnel rams(2nd pic) over at welders now that the flanges will be removed and replaced with a custom flange to bolt on to a G3.

word of caution , stay away from cathedral ports the LSX/7 port shape is better to transition to the pre eagle ports than the 6.`/6.4/eagle ports.
Your not going to out power the Drag Pak intake with any of these and honestly it wouldn't be cheaper if you have to buy parts new. I'm lucky in the retrospect that I still have a crap Pile of LSX/7 parts laying around.

Any updates on this? I'm surprised no one is making a G3 Hemi version of that fabbed-LS intake. There has to be enough of a market to get a decent ROI, with a decent price point of course.

A super duper deal would that intake, fabbed or cast with the LS TBI bolt pattern for ease of purchased cable driven TBI.

Sorry, I didn't see this:
