MSD 6-Hemi wiring

Started working on the harness hookup for my 08 5.7. Have everything except the crank sensor worked out. The plug is a different size and definitely won't slide on the sensor. MSD Tech says there is nothing wrong with their harness. The sensors I found online look just like mine for a few different years both ways. I am at the lower rear of the block on the passenger side, and the harness plug says "crank". Here is a photo of the plug and sensor, side by side and you can see the difference in sizes. Any ideas?

You'll need a crank sensor for 03-06 5.7 to work with their harness.
