Saw some videos of the stock caps porosity and retaining oil. Would billet aluminum or steel cap be recommended in a boosted motor build? thx matt

I am doing a turbo gen III and will be using aftermarket billet caps. Have not decided if they will be steel or aluminum yet. I can't get past the caps being powdered metal.

yes billet caps will be better.
