Nag1 Manual Valve body? - 07/23/16 04:41 AM

I know that the nag can be a pain because of all the electronics. Does anyone make a manual valve body to eliminate the headache? Is this even possible with this type of tranny?

Have not heard of such an animal. They have TCM's with like 6800 rpm shift points though. After a certain point they get ditched in favor of Rosslers.

You need to talk to Builder Bill from Paramount Performance. I was involved with his Jeep when he was building the first trans brake valve bodies available. He has done some amazing things with Nags over the years.

You can also clip the torque intervention wire and put in on a rocker switch, will not set a DTC and will give it a shift kit type feel. cannot remember the wire color, but it will prevent HP decrease that happens via TCM/PCM during shift event.

Bumping this to see if there have been any developments with a manual valve body. Sure would be nice to put in a nag1 without the extra wiring and computer.
