Sonoma Raceway Saturday-Sunday, May 5th&6th 2018

Track Masters is having an Autocross and road course events at Sonoma Raceway May 5th-6th.

Auto-x only on Saturday May 5th. Road course on both days.

I'll be on the road course Saturday and the event is $295 to enter and goes up April 23rd. Rain or shine event! If it rains I'm going to take it easy haha!

I've actually run Thunderhill with the wipers on...but thankfully a dry line quickly formed. Pretty amusing for a while.

I took out my wiper motor and wipers to save weight haha!
I sprayed Rain-X on the winshield and works great as long as your drive fast enough.

How many track sessions do yo get,and how long,are they. Also how sticky are they if you don’t have Sears track time.

The Saturday event is from 9am-5pm with a one hour lunch. 20-25 minute sessions divided among 4 run groups is about 4-5 runs in a day.

Newbies to Sonoma should really take the time to learn the lines as the corners between Turns 7, 8 & 9 are where people get into trouble. There are only a limited number of track day events at Sonoma this year and I want to run there as much as possible!

Better pick up the pace! I ran a best of 2:00.34 this last weekend in my 2016 Charger.
