Wilwood 7/8" Master Cylinder Recall - 07/30/17 08:50 PM

A heads up if you have one.

Mine was not right out of the box and I thought it was my inability to get the air out of it. After bleeding and bleeding I was informed that there was a recall on this unit.

The 17 miles I have put on the car was all on the rear brakes. The car I've worked on for 3 years is dead in the water because of it. down

No

Dead in the water = immobile [no master cylinder]

I took it literally. I had the same thing happen to me with my A-body spindles. I was about to install them and I got a letter from Right Stuff saying to return them due to some spindles breaking. I had to wait another couple of weeks until I got another set. I feel bad for the guys who already had them installed.
