Yes, various OE manufacturer have. The big problem is at the fittings, there's no viable way to make the flares without breaking the coating.

I prefer CuNi line but they are strictly bend your own currently.

CuNi is dot approved (mil spec in many cases) has been used by Volvo since at least the 80's (and still looks factory new) is easy to work with.

If you don't mind roll your own and don't need a steel appearance, this is the cats meow!

Well, if he's considering the line int he link then he's obviously thinking of rolling his own.

CuNi is probably the best choice overall.

Mild steel for me. The originals lasted >35 years and the hot rod is a 3 season car so the mild steel should last a good long time. Mild steel is easy to work with, seals well can can be modified with common low cost tools.

For running in nasty conditions I would use the copper-nickle. Easy to work with and seals well.

The old style flaring tools will tater the finish. Like my Blue Point unit I bought in the 70's. The newer units, like the Eastwood, don't harm the finish. My boss has one of those. Got to try it out on some of the tubing you get from NAPA that has a coating and it came out [censored]. Something I need for my own stash plus you can get it for AN 37*.

I don't care about appearance, and I'd rather they be pre-bent. Only real prerequisite is that they're made in the USA.
I was flipping through eBay and saw these and wondered if they lived up to the hype.
