cam invitationals at nationals?

I see is being run on the pro solo days but don't see where to register for the event. Not much on the scca site. Is it by invite only? Thanks for any info.

The CAM Invitational is by invitation only. You can request an invitation by contacting Raleigh Boreen, SCCA Regional Development Co-ordinator @ rvboreen@gmail.com.

All 3 CAM classes will be offered as supplemental classes during the Solo Nationals. Their run days will be Tuesday and Wednesday if you cannot obtain an invite to the Invitational.

An aside about the CAM Invitational: The top two finishers from each of the three CAM classes in the CAM Challenges get automatic invitations to the CAM Invitational. The second and final CAM Challenge is being contested this weekend in Peru Indiana at Grissom Aeroplex. Registration is closed but if you're not going to the Mopar Nats come to Grissom and check out the action. Spectator admission is free. Unfortunately, no Mopars entered this year. Hopefully next year......

Dave where/when is the invitational? That email didn't work...

The Invitational is held as part of the SCCA Pro Solo Finale in Lincoln Neb. Sept 4-6 at the Lincoln Airpark. The Solo Nationals are Sept. 7-12, again at Lincoln Airpark.

That is the correct email. I am going to be put on the list of cars they pick from to fill the final spots in the 32 car field. Hope i get picked but if not i'm still going to watch. Sounds like a blast and i'll be down there for nationals anyway...

I got my confirmation email today. Looks like i get to go play with the big boys the weekend before nationals!
