For Guys With Gen 3 Hemis and Steering Boxes - 04/01/15 03:06 AM

I am now selling a power steering pump that bolts on like a stock gen 3 hemi pump to the cylinder head, but features the correct pressure and flow rate for steering boxes. This keeps the feel the way the box was designed and keeps the fluid much cooler with the reduced pressures. The pump also features AN fittings on the feed and pressure for easy installation of remote reservoirs. This pump comes without the pulley, but accepts a stock pulley.

OK... I guess that is, literally, coming at me.

Here is a picture of a reservoir that will work. I hear BAC is a distributor for these also...

I guess I will answer my own question.

Looks like Jeep TJ, Corvette, and a few others. Car must come w/ TC style pump and the 0.663" pump shaft. This pump is the smaller shaft w/ a roller bearing. The larger shaft TC pump uses a bushing and does not handle as high a load or speed.

Which pulley depends on your crank pulley style and diameter. I have a 5.875" six rib serpentine under-drive March crank pulley. The factory LS pulley is 7.5" crank (I think) and the stock PS pulley for the Vette is 6.5". Turn One sells a stock replacement billet pulley for the Vette LS1 and a 5.75" over-drive pulley. I purchased the Turn One 5.75" pulley. Picture of pulley on pump attached.

I kinda already covered all this in Autoxcuda's thread. You can get the pump with a billet v groove pulley and attached reservoir for about $200. A 4.7 Durango pulley also works fine.
