2011 Spectre 341 Challenge Helmet Cam Footage

A lot of folks have been posting track footage, so I figured out the internet and posted one of my own. This was only my 2nd run up the mountain at speed, so there were some slower spots. I ended up winning my class. You can't tell very well because of the resolution, but we spent most of the time over 80mph. Hope you guys enjoy.

Missed it by 20 seconds or so (that's why I really want the event to come back). By the time I had gotten comfortable enough to really hammer it up the hill, the surface conditions had degraded to the point where the pro's didn't even want to run since they knew it wouldn't be any faster. If we get the chance to go again, we'll be there with a lot more motor and a lot better tires, and I don't think that cutting 20-30 seconds off would be too hard.

Big thing to point out about when I did this event, I drove the car from San Diego (540 miles) ran the event, and drove it home. Super fun trip.

If I get the chance to do it again, it'll be with the sole purpose to make the 341 club.
