70 Charger K member question

i have a 70 charger 500 and it came with a 318 but i want to put a 440 in it, does it need a different K member? i have heard that i don't need to change it and i also heard that i need to change it. whats the verdict?

Same K for all v8's.Just need the correct BB mounts B @ E bodys.

Yeah, sorta.....
3 different K members were used in 1970 b body cars.
Slant six
273/318/383/440
Hemi.
Yeah, it is a technicality, but the HEMI is a V8 as well....

Don't need conversion mounts for a factory setup. PM Joesixpack and get a set of factory BB B/C/E mounts.
