I seem to remember she had some health issues. She was also something of a free spirit, was into heavy music and liked strange topics. Years ago there was an informal Moparts chat using random sites message boards. She was pretty crazy. Sad to hear of her passing.

Wow....that's sad. One things for sure, she lived her life her way. I talked to her at The Nats a few times, and also at Gary's funeral. She kind of carried herself as a tuff girl, but she had a heart so big, that I don't know how it fit in that little bitty body. R.I.P. Eve. angel

Re: Member Dart_girl passed away. - 05/09/15 12:38 AM

Eve, I am going to miss you.

Chryslers were the underdog, the misunderstood. Bright colors and loud graphics made them stand out and announce that they really did matter.
Eve, if there was ever an American automotive brand you could hang your hat on, it was Chrysler. Your world perspective and funny approach to just about everything has been missed for some time.
Now, it seems that aside from memories, it's permanent.
That makes me sad as I found a kindered spirit of sorts in you.
*sigh*

Re: Member Dart_girl passed away. - 05/09/15 12:55 AM

Darn, I enjoyed her posts.
While also a bit curious about the circumstances, I will refrain from asking.
She was young and had issues but the "How" is not important. I dislike the manner of death overshadowing the life it replaced.
The world and our small group is smaller by one big spirit.

Yes. Like when Gary was killed, and a couple/few other members died suddenly, none of who I'd met. And the 1 or 2 that I had met. Like localy was cudax4 - Don Rae, and 340shorty-Larry.

What sad news. I used to hang around with her/John & Mark back when Gary passed. We all had a lot of good laughs together and some great cruising time in our cars. She was a character who really loved her mopars and friends. RIP Eve. frown

I know that times change and we all move on....even though I really didn't know her, it still feels real sad to lose a member of the Moparts family.......

RIP Dart Girl. I spent a lot of time with her and knew the person inside the public facade pretty well. She truly was a remarkable person. It has been awhile since my last conversation with her, I hope she is finally at peace.

A humorous note to attest to her huge heart- A few years back I posted a question about coffee makers in the General. She popped on (after a long absence) and offered to mail me her old Mr. Coffee, a wonderful gesture!

I politely declined, but made sure I was clear that I appreciated the thought, and she got angry with me for not taking it! laugh Public flogging and all!

She never PM'd me again! LOL! smile

Re: Member Dart_girl passed away. - 05/10/15 07:22 PM

I'm shocked and saddened at this. She was perfect for this place. She'd break some balls if guys got tough with her. Was not afraid to get controversial and I teased her about that. Brash exterior with the Goth/dark mistress thing going on, but she had a heart of gold, loyal to the bone and every time we talked I felt loved. I had no idea she had health issues. The story of John Papas and Eve and that Aussie Daytona is one of the best ever to hit this forum. I'll miss you, Eve.

Re: Member Dart_girl passed away. - 05/10/15 11:30 PM

I meet her online (but never in person) maybe 20 years ago or so when she was a MOD on the old Mopar Alley clubs forum. I spoke to her on and off until a few years ago and always wondered what became of her.

Over the years i could see she was a becoming more of a troubled young lady and i always hoped someday she would find happiness.

I pray she is finally at peace now.

One picture of her that sticks in my mind was one where she was flat on her back, wrenching on her car (don't remember which car though).

Something with a slant 6. She was horsepower hunting with mods/aftermarket parts. Can't remember if she ever met her goal or not.

Eve - RIP. I had no idea she had passed away until about 10 minutes ago - I'll find out details from John this week. John will be selling the Aussie Daytona BTW at the auction in Indy next week I believe it is?

I am shocked - I think I met her once through John.

You know in a "strange" way I think so too.....in fact I know she would have had a laugh and also appreciated Molloy's request as well, she was a good person with a good sense of humor. It's as if she knew life is too short to really care about the little things and live life the way it makes you feel good about it. DG you were special smile
