46,000 mile Plum Crazy 71 Charger - 06/18/10 03:30 PM

Hi all,

Thought I'd share some pics of my find in March of this year.

This car was an original 318/904 Plum Crazy whith the white canopy top option.

Currently installing a 77 440/727 with 23,000 miles out of an ambulance.

Everything in and on this car is original equipment and have found no panel replacement or rust repairs. Has had one repaint, so, so job but don't know why it was painted except that possibly it may have been faded or scratched.

Some fender damage apparently something fell from the rafters in the garage, so the story goes.

Thanks for looking, more pics to come

Nice car! FC7 peeled when new, thats probably why it was painted.

That is the coolest car I've seen in quite some time! I'd stick a 318 back in it and drive the wheels off

Please don't tell me you found that in Akron.
I have been looking for that style Charger for my wife.

Yes AND it's "California Clean" also!
This is the cleanest muscle car I've ever found . The bottom is as clean as the top, sans the cosmoline.

Here's a pic of the donor vehicle for the 440.
Dodge 300 with 23,000 miles and you know fire departments have an excellent reputation for maintenance.

Bought it from the local custom lettering and pin stripe dude
