There still out there, New for me, 1 owner 73 RR 400 speed - 03/03/19 09:06 PM
I have a new ride!!! FINALLY after months of back and fourth multiple phone calls and going to see the car a deal has been struck.
Thanks to my wife for posting a wanted ad on Facebook For a 73/74 Road runner or a RR/GTX, a person answered the request with his friends car.
Its a one owner car, 46K original miles 400 4 speed, all original panels never been hit or rusted, one exterior repaint about 11 Years ago in its original color of B5.
All in all I'm very happy with the car. I have to do ALOT of routine maintenance things to do, and other tinkering things that have been neglected over the years.
I am glad to say that I am up for the challenge and excited to venture into this car. For the first time in a very long time I feel good about having to work on a car.
I know this is not the most desirable year for the Road Runner BUT I have always had a soft spot for them. The 73 Road runner is what started the Mopar bug for me oh so many years ago when my older brother purchased his first car in 1982 which was a 73 RR TX9 400 Auto car.
He ended up unfortunately wrecking the car.
So bear with me as I'm sure I am going to be posting a lot of questions as I dig deeper into this car to "make it right".
