Other than a few maintenance items, Dana removed and an 8 3\4 installed when it was nearly new, it's all original survivor.

Very cool to see original style cars out like that and not sitting either waiting to "be fixed up one day" or parked on bubble wrap and wrapped in plastic.

I was duly impressed for a minute there, 'til I read...

"Dana removed and an 8 3\4 installed when it was nearly new"

I fully understand though, put a lot of miles on a bowtie with factory 4.10's..... whew!! Watching Corollas and Sentras pass while cranking 3800 got old quick.

Got 3.54's in the Challenger, but JP's 18 spline 4spd OD fixed that!

I'd like to see documentation that says this car had a Dana 60 from the factory. The only automatic cars that got a Dana were the 440+6 cars. Even Auto's with the Super Track Pack 4.10's were 8 3/4's.

I don't agree with this. By the late 60's the 8 3/4" was offered wtih 3.91's for certain sticks and autos. 4.10's were dana cars and I believe there are plenty of u code challengers and cudas with autos and danas. Same thing for 69 440 b bodies- not common at all but I am nearly certain they are out there. Not sure on 68- i think those were all 8 3/4 unless a stick.

Love your car btw JericoGTX- it was one that inspired me years ago.

Good grief, what is it the "expert" nay-sayers?

Its a super-track-pack car (IE= 4.10 dana gears, optional in 69 on 440 and hemi b-body cars). Its very well documented, build sheet, fendertag, window sticker. I didnt' get a shot of the display he put together, but this car was all over the internet because the auction was well advertised. Somewhere on the net is a picture of the fender tag. I couldn't find it for the proof seekers. Even the original auction listing mentioned the dana was replaced.

Very nice owner (nephew) of the original purchaser. He plans on keeping it the way it is and is looking for a correct dated-410 dana to put back in it. Even took the time to put redlines back on it.

Mid 80's friend had an 50,000 mile original'69 Coronet RT. 440 (not 440+6), 727 and 4.10 Dana super track pack car.

There are plenty of documented 69 4.10 automatic non-M code cars.

They auctioned that car off last year out in Linn, KS. Car was bought at the auction by a nephew of the original owner who had passed. He paid $46,000 grand for it. I was standing right there when it sold.

Nice car . I had an L code , A4 silver (platinum)1969 GTX with red interior and
A32 which is of course a 4:10 dana with auto trans.

Lots of L code GTXs, Coronet R/Ts and Charger R/Ts had automatics and 4:10 danas .
The 4:10 was of course the only Dana gear ratio available with automatic trans.

You could not get a 3:54 Dana with an automatic trans .
The A33 was a 3:54 with 4 speed and A34 was 4:10 with 4 speed .
