Picked up another E-Body

This time it's my first ever Challenger. Have always wanted one but never worked out getting one. Well after 31 years of having a drivers license I now own this beauty thanks to a great buddy; oz383. I know he hates the Cragars lol but had to do it

Took the old girl to son's football game and was hippie night for the kids. This girl walked by and just had to take pic with her by car. Looks like an old ad shot.

Absolutely love it, even the cragars, they go on everything I own, timeless. How they were.

I like it other than the wheels, the 71 hood stripe ,and the deck lid spoiler, assuming it's not coded J81 (very few were).
I agree the girl next to the car looks awesome, too bad all those modern cars are in the pic , and the wrong year v21 , otherwise that would have been the coolest thing I've seen all day.

I'm jealous. I've never owned one either but would love to some time. Could care less if the stripes or spoiler are 'wrong', the car looks great! Cragars are perfect.

It was an orange car originally but repainted sometime in 90's I'd guess. My buddy has owned for past 15 or so years.

My first Mopar was also a '70 Challenger, and I have a soft spot for that body style.

Just remember that when someone calls out what's wrong with your car, you'd could easily reciprocate and call them out for not taking the time to SERVE THEIR COUNTRY for 26+ years.

This car is the exact same look as the one I bought in 1972. Was a 383 with 3;91 rear; hemi suspension; white with j81 coded wing, hood blackout and side strip. I have a picture somewhere. Was owned by Leslie Nielsen the actor for his kids.

I just love the fact that I can drive it everywhere, it's not a cookie cutter car and young ones adore it and always ask what year it is saying looks better than new model. These were the cars I saw as a little one that got me interested in old ones so maybe can pass that on to the new generation
