Survivor 1973 Polara 9 passenger wagon - 03/03/15 03:21 AM

Here's a picture of a 1973 Polara station wagon my father bought in November, 2013. The car is an original 440, torqueflite, sure grip car. When my dad bought it it had 17,000 miles on it. It's nearly 100% original including paint. It was in the Survivor display at Carlisle in 2014. We actually drove it to MCACN in November, 2014 from NJ to Chicago. The car ran perfect. It was one of only 3 or 4 station wagons at MCACN. If anybody needs reference pictures of the engine compartment, interior or undercarriage, let me know.

I must be getting old; never thought a brown, C body wagon with hubcaps and whitewalls would appeal to me more than a high impact 'cuda but there it is!

...I even find myself thinking of detuning my 'Bee a bit and putting on full wheel covers and whitewalls.... maybe it's a "reverse midlife crisis"!

More doors longroof cars are cool...................IMHO they should have their place here on Moparts but the powers that be disagree....

I wish I woulda' jumped on a certain white, '71 Coronet wagon in the past...

383,4-speed;essentially a plain vanilla wagon with a RR drivetrain...

I believe one of three built...

Tell your dad that I'm glad he brought it to Carlisle, I loved getting to see it.

I'm a wagoon through and through, love them all, even some old brand X wagons.
