1969 Dart GTS Almost Done!!!! - 02/02/15 02:25 AM

Got this car from Paul Stewart 7 years ago. He got it started. Just about done. It has been a blast!!! Found time to work on it despite raising three teenage daughters. Paul do you remember taking that pic in your driveway?

Thanks Scott. Here is a pic of the engine. Still have to put on heater hoses ( never need the heater or defroster, only drive it on nice warm days ). I have to paint the blower motor black too.

I would have put the A/C back on, pretty rare to have a 349 4-speed with air!

I have a 69 340 Swinger 4-speed with air that will never get done...

WOW just noticed that too, that car is so nice you should do the A/C just to reward yourself in Summer cruising!

I have completed all the inside stuff. Heater box completely rebuilt. A/C vents were like new, just needed a good cleaning. cleaned and installed heater - a/c controls. I trying to locate under hood components. I have the a/c sticker for the window:) I won't put it on until a/c is installed

Just stumbled on this post, car looks great!!! That picture was taken out in California where the car originated, you have done a fine job finishing her up! The custom 14 x 7 steelies look great out back!!!!!!!

I will hold you to your word to let me drive it though!!!

Just packed up the AC belt yesterday, I will give it to you when you let me go for a test drive..........

I'm trying to decide the tire size for my 68 GTS. I'm going 15's. I have a set of 15X7s for the rear. I was thinking 235/60s all the way around. I too am going with the Red Line tires. Love the color, nice job.

I went with B.F. Goodrich
P215/70R14 front P225/70R14 rear.
They ride really nice!!
