I purchased this car last fall and is now starting to take shape.

Yes the drivers side rail was way to bad to repair. Just a note if you plan on leaving a car sit for more than 40 years please drain all the brake fluid so when the lines rust in half they don't rot the sheet metal away.

So hard to paint over original paint. I should not have laid the buffer to the dull and faded paint. 45 years and a little elbow grease later.

Hey Dave if I got the white one from you I could pick up a blue one and have a complete red white and blue set.

I know it looks a little high in the back but I always weigh the guts and put the weight in to make sure it's level when it's all installed.

Hopefully within the next week or so it will all be red again. And the motor is back from Koffels so it should be back in one piece this weekend.
GREAT to see this baby coming back to LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh not getting discouraged at all just working 9 hours a day 6 days a week at work, don't they know I have car stuff to do. the car is now painted and mostly wet sanded. I will get some pictures up as soon as I get the buffer going. And yes Dave I am very interested in the white one when this is done. With the leaves gone and mowing done for the year I should have plenty of time to wrap this car up.
