Dodge Coronet 1968 - 360ci French restoration - 03/16/13 06:31 PM

Hello all !
I'm French and I bought a Dodge Coronet 1968 with a 360ci on august 2011.
From the purchase I visit french forums but I think that there is some crazy projects here !
To begin I hope that my english is understandable

That is the car at the beginning, with General Lee deco, 14" wheels and the leaking 360..

Now I restored the engine with Edelbrock camshaft, 600cfm, lifters, intake manifold. New exhaust, frame connectors, 17" wheels, disc and brakes, interior...

I work on this car everyday, i love it and i hope you will help me to continue the project

Few things are sexier than an overhead shot of a b body.

Thanks all !

basketcase, I agree with you, I made a mistake when I painted the stripe..

Next year the Coronet will have a new painting, probably in grey but I'm not sure. Anyway, I will put the stripe at the right place.

From 2 weeks the car is stopped, i had a problem, one piston was broken.

I think the cause is the pistons rings, i choosed them :

I have Keith Black 107 pistons :

I don't saw that at the purchase but they needs moly pistons rings like that :

(I purchased them one week ago and I am waiting for the reception)

What's moly ? there is big difference between moly and cast iron ?

I removed the second cylinder head last week, to change all pistons rings..

I've also a problem with the distributor I think, the piston 8 doesn't run..

I purchased last week an ready to run MSD distributor but I don't know what type of spark plug I have to choose, and what's the gap ?

Do you think those are good ?
